Our permanent collection, called Colecciones ICO, is a Spanish contemporary art collection including works by Picasso, Dalí, Miró, Jaume Plensa, Susana Solano. The Colecciones ICO are divided in three independent groups: Suite Vollard by Picasso, Spanish Modern Sculpture with Drawings and Spanish Contemporary Paintings. Colecciones ICO include sculpture, drawings and paintings by architects Antoni Gaudí, Juan Navarro Baldeweg or Álvaro Siza.

Collection Policy
Colecciones ICO are currently available only for temporary loans to other cultural institutions, both Spanish and international. The aim is the dissemination of Spanish contemporary art outside the city of Madrid. The Colecciones ICO have visited more than 20 Spanish venues and 15 international cultural institutions during the past 20 years. Nowadays, Colecciones ICO are increased only by the generosity of donors.

Tuesday to Saturday 11 to 20 h.; Sunday and Holiday: 10 to 14 h.

Fundación ICO / Museo ICO have a specialized Art library with more than 2000 volumes, but it isnt currently available for public visit.

Museo ICO is located in the centre of Madrid, behind the Spanish Parliament Building, in Calle Zorrilla, 3. The Museum has got 1000 m2 available for temporary exhibitions distributed along three floors, as well as 106 metres of wall to display artworks. For additional information:
