icam 17 will be held in September 2014 in Montreal and New York, hosted by the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) in Montreal, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Avery Library of Columbia University in New York.
The conference will begin in Montreal on Sunday 21st September 2014 with the opening lecture, tours and three conference sessions on the following days addressing archiving born-digital material, the pressure of the contemporary and the role of photographic collections in architecture centers and museums. On 25th September, the conference continues in New York, with special tours and a session on collaboration between institutions. The conference will conclude on 28th September.
